Message I think all of these "advances" in the Z community lately are very cool. I'm thorougly entertained that there are still a lof of people on here willing to try new things, and share them with the rest of the board, especially in the detail that we've been seeing lately. I've been following the water injection talk for the whole time, and aside from the small disadvantages with problematic pumps and injectors.. it seems to be a very worthy upgrade. I only have one question, what kind of advantages, if any, can those of us who don't plan to run huge amounts of boost or advanceed timing, see? For instance, I'm at stage "3+" right now. (jwt pop, Z1 ecu, cat-back exhaust and 555's). My next power mods will probably only include the G.Dupree down and mid-pipes. Before I aquire those, I will be purchasing a Profec B Spec 2. I plan on running "low" boost most of the time... I'm thinking 10 psi, while having the high boost setting at 15 psi. I love the Z because it's just fun to drive, I don't need to have the needle pinned to 15 psi to keep me happy, but for the times that I do turn up the boost... *would* a water injection system provide my Z any benifits? I'm looking more along the lines of prolonging engine life, I suppose. I'm not nescessarily looking to overboost, or advance the timing like Ash has, I don't have the kind of money to prematurely replace things, if it would come to that...

Secondly (just a suggestion), someone should put together a kit. All you guys using water injection, Nixit, Ash, Haken (quitcher bitchin for just a second). Get together, discuss what works reliably, and put together a kit for those of us who dont know as much about this, or who don't know where to look. (yes, that includes me =) I'm sure quite a few people would be interested. Just a thought. Thanks for reading..

~Mike
